In the Finder, go to Applications and double click on Apple Mail

If this is the first time you've run Apple Mail, you will be presented with the above screen. Simply click Continue, then click Done.

1. Click File from the top menu
2. Choose Add Account... from the drop down list.

1. Full Name is the name that you want to show up when people receive an e-mailfrom you. It is often your full name or the name of your company.
2. Enter your full email address (ex: email@domainname.com) for the Email Address
3. The Password is the password that was provided to you when your account was created.
4. Click Continue

1. Leave POP3 as the Account Type
2. Enter your full email address (ex: email@domainname.com) for the Description
3. Enter mail.(yourdomainname).com for the Incoming Mail Server (POP3)
4. Apple Mail will automatically populate the User Name with info. This is incorrect. Make sure you replace it with your full email address (ex: email@domainname.com).
5. Click Continue to test your Incoming Mail Server settings

1. Description is optional, you don't need to fill it in.
2. Enter the Email server name mail.(yourdomainname).com as the Outgoing Mail Server
3. Leave Use only this server unchecked
4. Check Use Authentication
5. Apple Mail will automatically populate the User Name and Password fields with the same information you entered for the Incoming Mail Server in the previous step. This is correct, and you can leave it as it is.
6. Click Continue to test your Outgoing Mail Server settings

The Verify Certificate dialog will appear as a security warning. Simply click Connect to continue testing your Outgoing Mail Server settings.

You've now tested all your account settings and they are shown on this final screen. Simply click Create to create complete setup of your e-mail account in Apple Mail.
